TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Humans and humanoids; anthropomorphic characters.

2. Feral characters; any species of animal.

3. Aliens, monsters, and any other creature.

4. Mechanical, robotic, sci-fi.

5. Armor, weapons, medieval, D&D, WoW, RPG, etc. type characters.

6. ‌Original characters, fan-made characters and characters from games, movies, books, etc.

7. Characters of any visual age (infant to elder).

8. Couples, romantic, and intimate scenes, subject to artist's discretion.*

9. Moderate amounts of violence and gore, subject to artist's discretion.*

*NSFW images (those with large amounts of nudity, some sexual themes, or significant amounts of blood) will result in a 30% additional charge.

1. Heavy gore or vividly detailed wounds, subject to artist's discretion.

2. Pornographic content

3. Explicit content of underage characters, including drugs, alcohol, violence and sex.

4. Incestuous relationships of any kind.

5. Political content.*

6. Religious content.**

*Ansoniaa will not depict any political organizations or groups.

‌** Artist may agree to depict various religious items/themes; subject to discretion.

1. Pricing is negotiated and determined before work begins.*

2. Payment is to be made after the Artist has accepted the commission. The Client will receive an invoice allowing partial payments, and is to pay half of the cost up front (down payment) and the remainder upon completion.

3. The Client will receive a low-resolution, obstructed preview of the final piece until the remainder of the invoice is paid.

4. Down payment must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the invoice, or the Client risks cancellation.

5. Payment is to be made in USD (United States Dollars). The Client will be expected to cover conversion fees, if applicable. This means the listed price may be more than shown if you are using a different currency, and will not be lowered because of it.

6. The Client does not need to pay extra for any of the PayPal fees, except for conversion fees between currencies.

‌* Pricing may be renegotiated after work begins due to modifications.

1. All commissions will be done digitally.

2. All commissions will be in high resolution images.

3. The Client will receive a full-resolution PNG of their piece, without a watermark, for personal use. For commercial usage information, see the Image Rights section below.

4. Commissions will be posted on https://ansoniaa.art and associated social media after the Client has received and approved the finalized commission.*

5. Depending on the queue upon ordering, the estimated turnaround is about four (4) weeks to four (4) months.**

6. During the sketching process, up to two (2) major revisions will be performed at no additional cost. Additional fees will be required for any further major modifications.***

* The Client may choose to remain anonymous when Ansoniaa publicly uploads the commission.  Additionally, commissions may be posted to other social media, including but not limited to: Twitch, Ko-fi, Youtube, Bluesky, etc.

** If Ansoniaa has to take longer than four (4) months to complete the commission, the Client will be contacted and informed of the status of their commission.

‌*** Major revisions include character poses, image/scene layout, and other large changes. Additional fees are case-by-case and will depend on the overall cost, how heavy the modifications are, and the point at which they are requested. Any and all revisions after the sketching stage (i.e. during lining, coloring, or rendering) will incur additional fees.

1. The Artist has a right to refuse the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation.

2. The Client has a right to cancel the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation, prior to the payment transaction.

3. The Artist retains full rights to upload, post or otherwise use commissions on any platform for display or portfolio purposes.

4. The Artist will work with deadlines and rush orders only with a minimum of 10 days to complete the piece; rush orders will cost more than normal orders.*

5. The Artist does not work on a “first come, first served” basis. Smaller commissions- commissions that do not take much time- will be worked on in between larger commissions- commissions requiring more time.

6. The Client may contact the Artist at any time to ask for a progress check on the commission but is not permitted to rush or pester the Artist to get it done faster.

7. Redistribution or editing via NFT or AI/artificial image generation is STRICTLY prohibited and will result in a permanent blacklist from commission services.

‌‌* If a deadline is missed, compensation may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

1. The Client may make minor edits to the completed commission (i.e, cropping, rotating, adding text, borders, changing brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, adding filters, etc.).

2. The Client may not claim the commission as his/her own work, regardless of making any edits to the image.

3. The Client may use the commission for personal and non-commercial use, but must give proper credit to the Artist and a link to this website*

4. The Client may not use the commission for commercial purposes unless discussed with the Artist beforehand. **

5. The Artist does not claim ownership of any characters portrayed in the commission. Characters belong to their respective owners and creators. The Artist does retain full rights to the art.

* If the commission includes characters that do not belong to the Client, additional credit to the owners or creators of said characters must be provided when using or re-uploading.

** Commissions for commercial use will be charged more than personal, non-commercial commissions. If the commission includes characters that do not belong to the Client, the Client may not use the commission for commercial use unless explicit written permission from the owners or creators of said characters has been provided.

1. If the Client cancels his/her order before the initial down payment, there will be no charge.

2. If the Client cancels his/her order after the down payment is paid and before the Artist has begun, the Client may receive a full refund minus any PayPal fees.

3. If the Client cancels his/her order after the piece has been started, the Client may receive up to a 50% refund, based on how much work has been done on the piece. The client will be shown proof of progress with a low resolution copy.

4. The Client may not be refunded in full or part if the commission is completed and Client is unsatisfied with the commission.**

** If the Client is unsatisfied with the commission, Ansoniaa is willing to discuss and make minor edits up to a maximum of two (2) times after correspondence. Any desired major revisions will be rejected or will require substantial fees per edit. The only major revisions permitted are overlooked details that were specified by the client when ordered.
